Understanding the Onboarding Process
After your account is activated, the uAuditor team begins the onboarding process to configure your workspace based on your organization’s operational structure.
During this stage, onboarding sheets are shared with you to collect the information required to prepare your environment before delivery.
This ensures your account is ready for immediate use once setup is completed.
What Is the Purpose of the Onboarding Process?
The onboarding process helps:
- Structure your organization inside the platform
- Prepare inspection templates
- Configure users and permissions
- Organize locations and equipment
- Align the system with your operational workflow
Instead of starting from an empty workspace, your account is delivered pre-configured according to your business needs.
Information Requested During Onboarding
Your organization will be asked to provide the following details.
Locations and Branches
Define the operational locations where inspections will be performed, such as:
- Stores
- Warehouses
- Production sites
- Service centers
- Offices
Each location is configured inside your workspace for accurate reporting and assignment control.
Users
Provide a list of users who will access the system, including:
- Full name
- Email address
- Phone number
These users will be assigned permissions based on their responsibilities.
Roles and Permissions
Roles determine what each user can:
- View
- Create
- Edit
- Manage
- Approve
This ensures the correct level of access across your organization.
Organization Chart
Sharing your organization structure helps define:
- Reporting hierarchy
- Location ownership
- Inspection responsibilities
- Approval workflows
This improves automation and task assignment accuracy.
Existing Checklists
If your organization already uses inspection forms or checklists, they can be submitted during onboarding.
The uAuditor team will:
- Convert them into digital inspection templates
- Structure them into pages and sections
- Configure scoring and validation rules
This allows your team to continue using familiar operational standards inside the platform.
Assets and Equipment
Provide a list of equipment or assets that require inspections, monitoring, or tracking.
Examples include:
- Refrigerators
- Production machines
- Vehicles
- Kitchen equipment
- Safety devices
These assets can be linked directly to inspections and reports.
Collaboration During Setup
Throughout onboarding, the uAuditor team works closely with your organization to:
- Review submitted information
- Clarify operational requirements
- Configure templates and locations
- Assign users and permissions
- Prepare dashboards and reports
This collaboration continues until the workspace configuration is complete.
Account Delivery Meeting
Once onboarding setup is finalized, your configured workspace is delivered during a dedicated handover session.
During this meeting:
- Your environment is reviewed
- Configured modules are explained
- Templates are demonstrated
- Inspection workflows are verified
- Access credentials are confirmed
- Next operational steps are defined
After this session, your team can begin running inspections immediately.
