Downloading Inspection Reports
uAuditor allows users to download inspection reports as PDF files for sharing, documentation, and compliance purposes.
Downloaded reports include checklist responses, inspection scores, failed items, and captured evidence, making them suitable for internal reviews and external audits.
When to Download Inspection Reports
You may download inspection reports when you need to:
- share inspection results with management
- submit compliance documentation to auditors
- archive inspection records
- review inspection activity offline
- attach reports to operational communications
- support corrective action follow-ups
PDF reports provide a structured and portable version of inspection results.
How to Download an Inspection Report
To download an inspection report:
- Go to Inspections
- Locate the completed inspection
- Click the options menu (three dots)
- Select View Report
- Click Download PDF
- Save the file to your device
The report will be generated and downloaded automatically.
What Is Included in the Downloaded Report
The exported PDF report typically contains:
- inspection title
- template name
- inspector information
- inspection location
- completion date and time
- checklist responses
- highlighted failed items
- inspection score
- captured photos and attachments
- linked corrective actions (if available)
This ensures the downloaded report reflects the full inspection outcome.
Downloading Reports from Scheduled Inspections
If the inspection is linked to a scheduled task:
- the downloaded report still includes the same inspection details
- task completion status remains visible inside the platform
- the exported report reflects the finalized inspection record
This helps maintain consistency between tasks and reports.
Who Can Download Inspection Reports
Downloading reports depends on role permissions.
Users may be allowed to:
- download reports they created
- download reports assigned to them
- download reports within assigned locations
- download reports across the organization (administrators)
If the download option is unavailable, contact your administrator.
When Reports Reflect Updates
Inspection reports reflect the latest saved inspection data at the time of download.
If an inspection is modified after completion (based on permissions):
- a new download will include updated information
- previously downloaded files will not update automatically
Always download the latest version when sharing reports.
Best Practices for Managing Downloaded Reports
To use downloaded reports effectively:
- store reports in a structured archive
- name files based on location and inspection date
- share reports securely when needed
- verify evidence appears correctly before distribution
- retain reports required for compliance tracking
Maintaining organized report archives supports long-term operational visibility and audit readiness.
