# Understanding the Main Menu

# **Understanding the Main Menu**

The **Main Menu** in uAuditor provides access to all platform modules used to manage inspections, corrective actions, reports, templates, communication tools, and workspace configuration.

It is located on the left side of the screen in the web platform and allows users to move quickly between operational areas.

The modules visible in the main menu depend on your **role and permissions**.

## **Why the Main Menu Is Important**

The main menu helps users:

- navigate between modules efficiently
- access inspections and reports quickly
- manage tasks and corrective actions
- configure templates and resources
- control workspace settings

Understanding how the menu is structured improves productivity across daily operations.

## **Dashboard**

The **Dashboard** provides a high-level overview of inspection performance across locations.

From this section, users can:

- start new inspections
- review inspection trends
- monitor execution quality
- track inspector activity
- view recent inspections

The dashboard is typically the first page shown after login.

## **Inspections**

The **Inspections** module allows users to manage inspection activity across the organization.

Users can:

- create inspections
- review inspection history
- edit inspections in progress
- download inspection reports
- filter inspections by template, location, or inspector

Access to inspections depends on assigned permissions.

## **Scheduled Inspections**

The **Scheduled Inspections** section allows administrators to automate recurring inspection assignments.

Users can:

- create inspection schedules
- define recurrence intervals
- assign inspectors
- activate or deactivate schedules

Schedules ensure inspections are completed consistently without manual assignment.

## **Tasks**

The **Tasks** module displays inspection assignments generated automatically from schedules.

Users can:

- view pending inspections
- track overdue tasks
- start inspections directly from tasks
- link inspections to assignments

This helps teams manage execution deadlines effectively.

## **Resources**

The **Resources** section contains tools used to configure inspection structures.

It includes:

- Public Template Library
- Templates
- Score Priorities
- Custom Lists

These components help standardize inspections across locations.

## **Actions**

The **Actions** module allows users to manage corrective actions created during inspections or manually by supervisors.

Users can:

- assign responsibilities
- track progress
- update status
- attach supporting evidence
- monitor completion timelines

Actions ensure operational issues are resolved quickly.

## **Client Reviews**

The **Client Reviews** module collects customer feedback through QR-code-based review forms.

Organizations can:

- generate review QR codes
- track customer ratings
- monitor branch-level feedback
- improve service quality

## **Broadcast**

The **Broadcast** module allows administrators to communicate announcements across teams and locations.

Users can:

- read broadcasts
- acknowledge messages
- comment when enabled
- upload attachments

Administrators can monitor engagement and acknowledgment rates.

## **Violations**

The **Violations** module supports compliance enforcement workflows.

Users can:

- issue violations
- attach supporting evidence
- assign penalties
- track resolution progress
- export violation reports

## **Reports**

The **Reports** section provides detailed analytics about inspections, equipment, locations, and corrective actions.

These reports help organizations:

- identify operational trends
- compare performance across branches
- detect recurring failures
- measure execution quality

Reports support data-driven decision-making.

## **Settings**

The **Settings** module allows administrators to configure workspace structure and access control.

It includes:

- Company Settings
- Zones
- Locations
- Equipment
- Users
- Roles

Proper configuration ensures inspections reflect the organization’s operational structure.

## **Module Visibility Based on Permissions**

Not all users see the same menu items.

For example:

- administrators see all modules
- supervisors see operational modules
- inspectors see inspections, tasks, and actions only

This ensures secure and role-based access across the workspace.

## **Best Practices for Using the Main Menu**

To navigate efficiently:

- use Dashboard for daily monitoring
- open Tasks for assigned inspections
- access Templates before creating inspections
- review Reports regularly
- manage Actions after inspection failures

Understanding the menu structure helps users move faster between workflows.
