# Creating a Broadcast

# **Creating a Broadcast**

Creating a broadcast in uAuditor allows administrators and authorized users to send structured announcements to selected users or locations across the organization. Broadcasts are commonly used to share policies, safety alerts, operational updates, and internal instructions that require visibility and tracking 📢

Broadcasts help ensure important information reaches the right audience and can be monitored after delivery.

## **When to Create a Broadcast**

Broadcasts are useful when communicating:

- policy updates
- safety alerts
- inspection procedure changes
- compliance instructions
- operational reminders
- training announcements
- internal coordination messages

They provide a centralized communication channel inside the platform.

## **How to Create a Broadcast**

To create a new broadcast:

1. Open the Broadcast module
2. Select Manage Broadcast
3. Click Create Broadcast
4. Enter the broadcast title
5. Enter the broadcast description
6. Select the target locations and/or users
7. Enable or disable comments if interaction is required
8. Enable acknowledgment requirement if confirmation is needed
9. Attach supporting documents or media (optional)
10. Choose to publish immediately or schedule delivery
11. Click Publish

The broadcast will be delivered to the selected recipients.

## **Selecting Broadcast Recipients**

When creating a broadcast, you can target:

- specific users
- selected locations
- multiple branches
- operational regions
- the entire organization (depending on permissions)

Only users within your access scope can be selected.

Targeting ensures messages reach relevant recipients only.

## **Enabling Acknowledgment Requirements**

If acknowledgment is enabled:

- recipients must confirm they have read the broadcast
- administrators can track confirmation status
- broadcasts remain pending until acknowledged

This is recommended for compliance-related announcements.

## **Allowing Comments on Broadcasts**

If comments are enabled:

- recipients can ask questions
- users can provide feedback
- teams can share implementation updates
- attachments can be shared within discussions

This supports collaborative communication across locations.

## **Adding Attachments to Broadcasts**

Broadcasts may include supporting files such as:

- policy documents
- safety instructions
- training materials
- operational checklists
- images or reference guides

Attachments help recipients understand instructions clearly.

## **Publishing or Scheduling a Broadcast**

When creating a broadcast, you can choose:

- **Publish Immediately**
  - The broadcast becomes available to recipients right away.
- **Schedule for Later**
  - The broadcast is delivered automatically at a selected date and time.

Scheduling helps coordinate communication with operational timelines.

## **Monitoring Broadcast Delivery**

After publishing a broadcast, administrators can track:

- who received the broadcast
- who viewed it
- who acknowledged it
- comments and responses
- interaction activity

This ensures important communications are properly delivered and confirmed.

## **Best Practices for Creating Broadcasts**

To create effective broadcasts:

- write clear and concise titles
- select only relevant recipients
- require acknowledgment for critical updates
- attach supporting documents when necessary
- enable comments when collaboration is needed
- monitor engagement after publishing

Creating broadcasts in uAuditor helps organizations maintain structured internal communication and ensure important operational updates are delivered consistently across all locations.
